Hello! We are Joey and Holly Dutton, and we are married and live in Houston, Texas with our nearly-one-year-old daughter Ivy. As of July 2009, we share our dwellings with two dogs: a 23 pound, 4-year-old chihuahua-rat terrier mix named Rusty, and a 10-pound 2-year-old miniature pinscher named Fifi (or Coffey, or Flaca or Perra, depending on the mood of whoever is trying to get her attention). Our 9-pound 7-month-old mini dachshund named Tootsie was with us from November 2007 until February 2009, until she ran out in front of a car.
This blog and family domain will be our opportunity to share with you all information and goings-on of our lives. This is for friends and family, and any curious strangers who happen to stumble across this website. Lots will be written about our new roles as parents, but there should also be a fairly decent dose of silliness and musings, as we come across things that make us laugh or go “hmmm.”
