Here they come! Holly’s family and mine both graced us with their presence last week. It was a flurry of activities and chit-chatting, but it was all very good. I enjoyed it. The star of the show, of course, was Ivy who was held and passed around more than she ever had been in her entire 3 weeks of life. I personally enjoyed having lots of babysitters around to help take care of Ivy too.
My Mother, brother, and sister-in-law arrived on Saturday the 16th and stayed through Tuesday. We did a variety of things from taking a tour of Downtown Houston to spending an afternoon and evening in Galveston. Here’s a just a few pictures of the thousands that were taken…

Mom was very concerned that we wouldn’t get to the beach before dark. As you can see we made it before dark and she was quite happy about it.
After we ate dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe we walked across the street to the beach. It was a nice, cool and breezy night with a full moon. After some picture taking and milling around, we watched the Volcano erupt at the Rain Forest Cafe, then headed back toward Houston.
