Rainy day in Houston.  What to do?  How about drive down to San Leon and get some more chickens?!   We wanted to replace the chicken that died, plus get some meds for a hen that was sick.  We ended up bringing 4 more chicks home with us.

Well, one of our chickens died.  It was our favorite one, too.  The one with the feather hat.  I just found her dead on the floor of the coop this morning.  There’s no visible reason for her death, so I don’t know what killed her.  🙁
